Chidimma Ojukwu Pleads Not Guilty to the Murder of Usifo Ataga

Chidimma Ojukwu, the chief suspect in the murder of Super TV Chief Executive Officer, Micheal Usifo has pleaded not guilty to the murder charge.

Chidimma Ojukwu and Adedapo Quadri, two key suspects in the murder of Ataga were on Tuesday, 12 October arraigned before the State High Court sitting at Tafawa Balewa Square.

The two defendants are facing an eight count charge bordering on conspiracy,murder, stabbing, forgery, making of bank statements and stealing preferred against them by the Lagos State Government.

Justice Adesanya remanded Chidimma and Adedapo in prison custody, while the case has been adjourned to November 9 and 11 for trial.

Recall that Usifo was found discovered dead in a rented apartment with multiple stab wounds on where he had earlier checked in with the suspect, Chidimma .

He was buried on July 30.
