Chances of Prof. Chukwuma Soludo emerging the Executive Governor of Anambra State has yet received another strategic-grassroots support as Chief Anthony Okafor popularly known as Oji Uno Eme Ogo from Mbauwku in Awka South Council Area of Anambra State, on Monday, September 20th 2021, has donated a brand new Toyota Sienna to Soludo/Ibezim gubernatorial campaign organization, assuring the campaign organization of more logistical supports as events unfolds.
Receiving the Campaign vehicle on behalf of Prof. Chukwuma Soludo who was unavoidably absent but was represented by his running mate Dr Sir. Onyeka Ibezim, Chief Anthony underscored that though he is not a card-carrying member of any political party, he views Soludo/ Ibezim Ticket as not just Mbaukwu project but the Masses-Project which when it comes to fruition will genuinely reward and reconnect our people with the government of the day by pulling a lot of struggling families out of poverty across the state.
He added that with the experience and exposure of Prof Chukwuma Soludo as a one time CBN Governor, he will harness the power of the private sector to create more jobs for the teeming unemployed youths.
He however maintained that with Dr Onyeka Ibezim as the number two citizen, Mbaukwu and Obizi communities stand a better strategic change to participate in government, which will, in turn, make their voices not to be ignored again in the Executive Chambers of the state.
On his part, the Deputy Gubernatorial designate, Dr Onyeka Ibezim told Kpakpando’s political correspondent, Udoka Nwokoye that this is an extraordinary demonstration of brotherhood support towards the onerous task of bringing quality leadership and governance to our people.
He described the Philanthropist, Chief Anthony Okafor as a true brother, a Philanthropist and a Community patriot who has, over the years been exemplifying that humanity should have a state in each others welfare through his numerous impactful philanthropic gestures which he said, lacks any political undertone.
He equally extended the warm wishes of his principal, the former CBN governor and Apga candidate, Prof Chukwuma Soludo to him and the entire Mbaukwu community, assuring him that his Principal, Prof. Soludo will not take the gesture for granted.
It would be recalled that Chief Anthony Okafor was the Philanthropist who singlehandedly donated a brand new church, Madonna Assumpta Catholic Church Ovollo Village Mbaukwu to Mbaukwu Catholic community in August 2021, has built and continued to build houses for the poor and needy, fighting youth unemployment through business mentorship, and many families today have university graduates to their fold courtesy of the warm blankets of Ebube Chukwu Uzor Education Foundation.
