Chief Anayochukwu Jude Edekobi ( Also known as Ichoku Agulu) – a native of Umunowu village in Agulu, Aniocha Local Government Area in Anambra State has joined the prestigious òzò title class.

The òzò title was conferred on him on Saturday; 21st August, 2021 in his compound at Agulu.

Chief Anayochukwu; who got his òzò title as ” Òzò Ebubechukwu ” showed appreciation to God for His provisions and sufficiency.

Stating that the òzò title is an ancient and sacred title in igbo land; and that anyone conferred with the prestigious title of òzò stands out in the crowd and also is an embodiment of truth, he noted that the anklet on his legs signifies withdrawal from certain places not worthy.

Òzò Ebubechukwu showed gratitude to friends and well wishers for their support and also for gracing the occasion en mass, advising everyone to live a life worthy of emulation; thereby leaving a good legacy here on earth and beyond.

His wife, lòlò Rose Edekobi described her husband; Chief Anayochukwu ( Òzò Ebubechukwu, Ichoku Agulu) as a calm and loving husband who is worthy to stand out in the crowd and also whom the cap fits. She thanked all that came to rejoice with them and also prayed for more blessings.

In his remarks, Chief Sunday Ekwo (Ichie akaeze Agulu) described òzò title as a ticket to heaven because they are embodiment of truth; ever ready to speak nothing but the truth. He described Òzò Ebubechukwu, also known as Ichoku Agulu as a man with a good heart; who stands for the truth all the time. He advised the youths to desist from wearing red title caps if they are not conferred with òzò title to avoid incurring the wrath.

So many dignitaries attended the ceremony; which included Hon. Ebele Ejiofor ( member representing Aniocha 1 constituency and deputy minority member, Anambra house of Assembly)amongst others.

There were other side attractions like ufie, traditional dances; among other entertainments.

People were also served with sumptuous foods and drinks..
