It was a double celebration as Children of Mrs Irene Ezeagba while celebrating 2022 Mother’s Sunday also celebrated their mother’s 84th birthday on Sunday, 27th March 2022 at St Lawrence Anglican church Mbaukwu.
During his sermon, Venerable David Ezeobi, Venerable David Ezeobi of St. Lawrence Anglican Church described Mrs Irene Ezeagba as virtuous woman, who dedicated herself to the service of God.
According Mrs Ezeagba who is popularly known as Osisi Iwu has always exemplifies what mothers should be known for as she has been able to support the husband to raise children who are today contributing to community and national development.
Ven. Ezeobi prayed for long life and good health for Mama, also appreciated mama’s children for taking good care of their mother.
In their separate speeches, Hon. Chris Ezeagba thanked God for the life of his Mother for being so strong and healthy to celebrate her 84th birthday. He prayed God to continually bless her with long and healthy life.
Hon. Chris Ezeagba poured praises on her mother for raising them in the fear of God.
Mrs Ngozika Adaeze Obiejesi ( Nee Ezeagba) in her joyful mood thanked God for sparing the life of their mother. She prayed God to grant their matriarch more blissful years ahead.
She thanked all those that came to celebrate with them and also prayed for more blessings upon her siblings.
Highlights of the event included dancing, cutting of cake; while guests was served with foods and drinks as merriments.
