Comrade Ibekwe Sworn In As Chairman of Anaocha, Promises Grassroots Governance

In a significant event marking the conclusion of local government elections, Comrade Romanus Ibekwe of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) has been sworn in as the Chairman of Anaocha, alongside his deputy, Hon. Emekeh Peter, and 20 newly elected council chairmen.

The ceremony took place under the auspices of Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, who celebrated APGA’s clean sweep of all 21 local government chairmanship positions.

In his acceptance speech, Ibekwe expressed gratitude to the governor and the people for their support. He emphasized his commitment to grassroots democracy, pledging to prioritize youth inclusiveness and women’s empowerment while enhancing community development.

Affirming his dedication to fulfilling APGA’s objectives in Anaocha, he expressed optimism about what they can achieve together.

As the new leadership begins its journey, residents look forward to positive changes under Ibekwe’s administration.
