Update on COVID-19 as at Tuesday, 28/7/2020, shows that six hundred and twenty four new cases of Coronavirus were reported in Nigeria.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control said confirmed cases of coronavirus in Nigeria have now increased to 41,804 after the 624 new infections were put down on Tuesday.
Breakdown of the new 624 cases is as follows-:
Lagos-212, Oyo-69, Niger-49, Kano-37
Osun-37, FCT-35, Plateau-34, Gombe-33, Edo-28, Enugu-28, Ebonyi-17, Delta-10 Katsina-9, Ogun-8,
Rivers-7, Ondo-5,
Kaduna-4, and Nasarawa-2.
Of the 41,804 confirmed cases in the country, 18,764 have been discharged, while 868 deaths were also recorded.
