Cross River State imposes 24 hour curfew in the state

Cross River State has has imposed a 24 hour curfew in the state.

In a statement issued on Friday by the special adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity; Christian Ita, the curfew took effect from 6pm on Friday following hijacking of peaceful protests in the state by hoodlums.

He further warned that security agents have been mandated to arrest anyone who flouts the order
