Dangote Refinery To Begin Petrol Production In August

The Dangote Refinery will begin petrol production in August 2024 after resolving crude oil supply issues with assistance from the Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) and the federal government.

Alhaji Aliko Dangote, President of Dangote Industries Limited, announced this during a tour of the refinery in Lagos. The refinery had faced challenges from international oil companies obstructing crude purchases.

He also said that the refinery’s fertiliser production unit will resume in two weeks, increasing fertiliser availability for Nigerian and African farmers.
