Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo in his address to the crowd of party men and women acknowledged the very bad state of infrastructure in the Local Government and promised to tackle them headlong. He also promised to prioritize exploration of the huge gas deposits in the Local Government which will transform the area and Anambra State in general. Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo also promised the people that he is going to liaise with the Federal Government to rehabilitate the Anam to Idah road and also get the recognition of Anambra State as an Oil Producing State.

Frontline Governorship Aspirant in the June 26th APC Governorship Primary and CEO of Wichtech Group, Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo (Overdose) stepped up his campaign momentum with marathon visits to Anambra West, Anambra East and Oyi Local Governments.

While welcoming Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo (Overdose) to Anam in Anambra West LGA, a former Deputy Governorship Candidate of ACN, Hon. Ralph Okeke (Akajiugo 1 Anam) informed his people that Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo is a man of honesty with proven capacity in business, governance and finance. Hon. Ralph Okeke stated that he is very angry with the bad state of infrastructure and social amenities in many parts of his home local government, Anambra West hence his decision to support and present to them a man with the capacity to change the perennial story of neglect they were used to in Anambra West. He appealed to his people to honour him as they have always done by voting Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo (Overdose) as the Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress on June 26, 2021.

When the Campaign train arrived Otuocha in Anambra East Local Government, the entourage of Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo was received by a massive crowd of supporters despite the torrential rainfall. In his brief remarks, Chief Ossy Chinwuba welcomed Dr. Chido to the Local Government and enthusiastically presented the frontline Aspirant to the people describing Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo as APC’s answered prayer in Anambra State. He noted that the primary election on June 26 is almost a done deal for Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo and appealed to all members of the party across all the Wards of Anambra East LGA to come out early on Saturday next week with their slips to vote Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo.

The Campaign DG, Barr. Ejike Nwachukwu said he was surprised and overjoyed by the massive turn out of party members and stakeholders in Anambra East, which incidentally is the local government of the current Governor. He noted that this is a testament to the new found love for APC in Anambra since Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo joined the party. The DG went further to enumerate the many works of Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo and appealed to all and sundry in Anambra East APC to vote and mobilize more support for this great philanthropist.

When it was time to address the crowd of supporters, Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo thanked the people for the support and love and told them that his major aim is to turn Anambra State into the industrial hub of Africa. He said he has been in the business of empowering people for 34 years now. Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo promised to provide jobs, empower people and rebuild the state. He said he is going to tap into the can-do spirit of Ndi Anambra and incorporate them into the New Anambra Project.

At Oyi Local Government Area, which is the last campaign stop for the day, Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo was welcomed by a jubilant crowd of supporters to Nkwelle Ezunanka. The DG of the Campaign Organization, Barr. Ejike Nwachukwu who hails from Oyi LGA thanked his people for the beautiful reception and told them that when he was drawn into APC by Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo he did not hesitate but followed. He listed the achievements of Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo and described him as a kind-hearted man who did not start philanthropy because he is contesting election but had established his Kingdom Care Foundation more than two decades ago. He urged all members of the party in Oyi LGA to get ready to deliver the Local Government to Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo on June 26th.

In his speech, Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo reiterated his message of building a new Anambra State by creating wealth and jobs for many unemployed Anambrarians. He said his plan of turning Anambra State into the industrial hub of Africa will produce thousands of good jobs for the people. He also promised to bring his taste for high quality products into construction of solid infrastructure across the state if elected Governor.
