The YPP Senatorial hopeful in the forthcoming Anambra Central Senatorial District election, High Chief Dr Chinedu Anthony Umeadi, has met with his political structure, Dr Chinedu Umeadi Progressive Movement, in his campaign office at Awka.
Dr Chinedu Umeadi Progressive Movement is a political structure of Dr Umeadi whose membership comprises people of like minds that are passionate lovers of Dr Umeadi across party lines, with its presence in various political wards in Anambra Central Senatorial District.
the group is set to make a loud and resounding statement going into the election.
Speaking at the gathering, the State Coordinator of the Group, Chief Okechukwu Ekemezie (Onowu Nri), outlined their aims and objectives.
According to him, their target, among others, is to take the good news of NEW DIRECTION AGENDA to the doorsteps of the masses within the zone.
Chief Ekemezie also expressed their resolve to dethrone bad leadership in Anambra Central as exemplified by the actions and inactions of their present representatives at the National Assembly, stressing that they are stopping at nothing to ensure Dr Umeadi’s victory in the forthcoming general election.
The ONLY way to correcting the anomaly he said, is by replacing them with a tested and trusted person with capacity, like High Chief Dr Chinedu Anthony Umeadi (Agunechemba nke mbu na Abagana), through the polls next year.
In his response, High Chief Dr Umeadi used the opportunity to appreciate them for their support so far.
He thanked them for spreading the message of hope and liberty as occasioned by his NEW DIRECTION AGENDA for Ndi Anambra Central Senatorial Zone.
The Senatorial hopeful further charged them to invest more efforts and energy in grassroots mobilization, and as well urged them to ensure that no stone is left unturned till victory is achieved.
He assured that his victory will be for Ndi Anambra Central, who deserve better representation at Abuja and not for his aggrandizement.
In a similar vein, the Director General, Dr Chinedu Umeadi Campaign Organization, Hon. Peter Ozumba (Ichie Agu 1 na Ukpo Kingdom, aka Perock) assured them of his readiness to partner with them to ensure that a New Anambra Central of their dream is achieved through Dr Umeadi’s aspiration.
