An aspirant in the upcoming Anambra state gubernatorial election, Dr. Godwin Maduka had been described as an exemplary leader.
Comrade Mayor Chukwika, popular as Mayor Aguata made the commendation when he paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Maduka in company of Chigozie Okeke (Isingidi na Upko) and Chukwunonso Dim (Udala Mbaukwu).
Eulogising Dr Godwin Maduka who is also popularly called Lion of Africa and Okeosisi Orumba, the team told Dr. Maduka who is aspiring for the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) to contest the governorship poll that they were sent by Igbo billionaire oil mogul, Prince Arthur Eze to pay him the visit.
Comrade Mayor Chukwuka had during the courtesy visit presented one big cow to Dr. Maduka as an expression of their gratitude to him over his numerous accomplishments which according to them have impacted humanity positively, especially the good people of Ndi Anambra state.
Mayor Aguata stated that Dr Maduka is one of the pioneer partners in the development of Awka Capital territory for the past 20 years and more, and noted that as one who hold triple professorial titles in Medical Science, the PDP governorship aspirant is an iconic enigma, whose remarkable giant strides continue to astound the average American of all races.
May Aguata said “His (Dr. Maduka’s) profound gift from God manifests in his ability to establish and run the largest private medical care group in Nevada and arguably in the USA.
“With God all things are possible by His Grace he will reach the promise land and change the face of Anambra State.
“His love for humanity, he has build over 100 houses in his home town Umuchukwu, which he handed over to the beneficiaries free of charge and some many of his Philanthropic infra-structural projects he has done so far, asking for God’s grace to keep him moving and more wisdom to complete his vision and mission”, he stated further.
In his response, Dr.Godwin Maduka expressed his happiness for the visit and promised that he would continue to impact positively on mankind so long as he lives.
Speaking later to KPAKPANDO on the sideline, Dr. Maduka said that he was overwhelmed by the visit.
He said that his mission and vision is to make Anambra a greater place. He said he believed in the saying “Akuluno” that is why he wants to bring home those things that will make Anambra a greater place that is why he comes up to run for the Governorship candidate in order to move Anambra in another dimension especially in area of education, because he wants his people to have access to education that is why one of his vision is equipping both existing universities and also creating more for some local government those that has none, introducing online studies to accommodate some persons who can’t go to the campuses.
He further said that all he is committed to doing in life has been guided by the voice of God, he guided me to start giving back to my people 20years ago, even when I did not have so much, today has given him a vision and he will lead to implement the vision.
“God has blessed me beyond my imagination, 20years ago I made a pact with God to use this blessing to better my people and the land of my birth, Anambra over the past years God has helped me keep this promise, if I can do what I have done so far on my own, with God, I will make Anambra the best place for people to live and achieve their potentials in Igbo land and Nigeria, he added.
