DSS urges Nigerians to be vigilant during the Easter celebration.

The Department of State Services has urged Nigerians to remain vigilant throughout the Easter celebration.

The service equally advised citizens to report attempts by criminals to perpetrate crime during the celebration.

The Director, PR and Strategic Communications, Department of State Services, Peter Afunanya, disclosed this in a statement on Friday.

The DSS added that citizens can reach them through their website, www.dss.gov.ng; email address- dsspr@dss.gov.ng and telephone lines +234915 339 1309; +234 908 837 3514.

Afunanya advised Christians in the country to stay away from illicit drugs, and excessive intake of alcohol among others.

He, however, urged Christians to learn from Jesus Christ and apply his attitude in their daily affairs.
The service also urged Nigerians to steer clear of crowded or suspicious areas.
