Dualization of Amawbia-Agulu-Nanka-Ekwulobia-Uga Road
—All Occupants On The Right Of Way Advised To Relocate

Following plans by Anambra State Govenment to dualize the Amawbia-Agulu-Nanka-Ekwulobia-Uga Road, the State Government has advised property owners along the routes to begin to relocate them somewhere else to avoid being adversely affected by the road dualisation project.

An announcement signed by the State Commissioner for Information, Sir Paul Nwosu, noted that the law demands that property along federal highway must be set back by 47.5 meters from center of the road.

He added that according to the law, anything short of that is a violation of the law and such, a property will be regarded and treated as an illegal structure.

The Commissioner, therefore, pointed out that by the notice, state Government wishes to minimize avoidable losses on the part of those that could be affected.
