In Katsina State, residents gathered on Tuesday, at multiple locations including the Katsina Arabic Teachers College Playground, to seek divine intervention amid ongoing economic hardship, insecurity, and poor governance. This marked the sixth day of the #EndBadGovernance protests.
Participants performed the Al-Qunut prayer, asking Almighty Allah to resolve the country’s challenges and remove those responsible.
The peaceful prayer session was attended by people of all genders under tight security. This spiritual approach followed violent protests that led to a state-imposed curfew, which was later relaxed by Acting Governor Faruk Jobe.
