The Enugu State Attorney-General, Dr. Kingsley Udeh, says Governor Peter Mbah’s reforms, including the Witness Support Fund, are accelerating justice delivery, especially in criminal cases.

Speaking in Enugu, Udeh noted that his office now processes legal opinions on criminal case files within ten days despite handling over 100 cases monthly. He also highlighted how CCTV surveillance has improved crime detection, increasing case volumes.

Additionally, the state is digitizing court proceedings for virtual hearings and electronic filings, while new laws protect real estate investors from land fraud. Efforts are also underway to decongest prisons through speedy trials and jail delivery programs.
