Fatal crash at Ziks Round about Onitsha on Thursday 1st April

The crash was between an unidentified driver of a Toyota Highlander Jeep with registration number AWK399EX and a stationary Mark Truck without a registration number.

Report reaching us indicates that the crash was caused by over Speeding which led to loss of control, and the driver of Toyota Highlander Jeep rammed into the stationary Mark Truck by the side of the road.

One person was involved in the Crash, which is the driver of the Toyota Highlander Jeep. He was taken to Toronto hospital Onitsha by Frsc rescue team from Upper Iweka Outpost and confirmed dead by the doctor on duty and his body deposited at the Morgue.

The Sector Commander Anambra State CC Andrew A Kumapayi FHNR sends his condolence to the deasesed family.

He also warn motorists to exercise caution during this Easter celebration, adding that they should avoid unnecessary speeding which usually leads to fatal Crash, assuring that FRSC Anambra state is committed to a safer motoring environment and pray for a Crash Free Easter celebration for NDI Anambra as they travel to their different destination for Easter celebration.
