
The Honorable member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency of Anambra State Chinedu Obidigwe has distributed educational and instructional materials worth about a N100 million to schools in his constituency.

In a speech to flag-off the exercise at the Fr. Joseph’s Memorial Secondary School, Aguleri, Obidigwe said that he donated the materials for schools in his constituency in line with his promises during the campaigns.
The lawmaker noted that the gesture would to a great extent complement the efforts of the current administration toward providing qualitative and affordable education for Ndi Anambra.
Hon. Obidigwe also said that the Items including computer sets, WiFi equipment, books, modern classroom chairs, desks, lockers, office equipment were part of his strategy to scale up enrollment into schools.
He further urged the school management and pupils to make judicious use of the materials while calling on the youths and communities to help to provide security for the materials to enable them to serve their purpose.
A former Central Bank Governor (CBN), Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, Mr Patrick Obalum Udoba, Member representing Anambra West Constituency in the State House, Sylvester Orji-Okafor TC chair Anambra West, his Anambra East counterpart Mr Nweke, Traditional rulers, the clergy all thanked the lawmaker for the gesture.
Some of the beneficiary schools are Fr. Joseph’s Memorial Secondary School Aguleri, Crowther Memorial Secondary School, Umuikwu Anam, Michael Tansi Secondary School, Eziagulu Otu Aguleri, Col. Mike Attah Secondary School Mkpunando Aguleri.
Others are Arch Bishop Patterson Seminary Secondary School Igbariam, Government Technical Secondary School, Umueri, Justice Chinwuba Secondary School, Aguleri, Fr. Tansi Secondary School Aguleri and Community Secondary School, Umueze Anam.
