FG has Declared monday and Tuesday Being 25th & 26th of May respectively as Public Holidays to mark Eid-al-Fitri Celebration

The Federal Government has declared Monday and Tuesday as public holidays to mark Eid-I Fitri Celebration.

The Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, announced this on behalf of the Federal Government.

Aregbesola who congratulated all Muslim faithful on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast, called on them to imbibe the spirit of kindness, love, tolerance, peace and good neighbourliness as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad

The Minister urged the citizens to see Nigeria as a single entity and learn to tolerate one another despite their ethnic and religious differences.
