Fire Breaks Out at Christ Embassy Church Headquarters in Lagos

An inferno has engulfed the headquarters of Christ Embassy Church in the Oregun area of Ikeja, Lagos State.

Eyewitnesses confirmed the blaze , and multiple videos on social media have shown the church’s massive edifice being destroyed by fire.

The fire broke out in the early hours of Sunday, causing significant damage and alarming the local community.

Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service officials arrived promptly at the scene to combat the blaze.
The area was cordoned off by police to maintain order.

In a statement, the Director of the Service, Margaret Abimbola Adeseye, confirmed that no lives have been lost.
The fire was reported at 7:27 AM, and units from Alausa and Ikeja fire stations arrived promptly.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
