Football: FIFA Congratulates Super Falcons After Qualifying For 2023 World Cup

The Federation Of International Football Association, FIFA, has congratulated the Super Falcons of Nigeria for qualifying for their ninth consecutive women’s World Cup.

The Congratulatory Message came following Falcons victory over the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon.

The Quarter-final Match which was played on Thursday, 14th July, in Casablanca, ended 1-0 in favour of the Falcons.

Recall that during the match, Atletico Madrid forward Rasheedat Ajibade scored the only goal with a great heading from Ifeoma Onumonu’s cross.

Having won this, Nigeria will now face the host country, Morocco, in the Semi-final on Monday, July 18.
