Nigerian football lovers have something to look forward to in 2022 as high profile football stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Didier Drogba , David Beckham and others are prepped to visit the country.
President of the Africa Children Talent Discovery Foundation (ACTDF) and sports philanthropist, Noah Dallaji made this known recently. Dallaji has recently gotten scholarships through his foundation for some players in the Premier League with Leicester City.
Speaking at the FCT Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN )week , he also revealed that newly appointed Cameroonian Football Federation president Samuel Eto’o and Chelsea legend, Didier Drogba will be present at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in June, 2022.
He said that the aim of bringing such high profile personalities in the world of football is for mentorship of the young ones.
He said that he believes that Nigeria can take the lead and maintain its respect in the continent trough mentorship of young ones and proper deploying of talent.
As beautiful and promising as the plans are, some Nigerians have taken to social media to express doubts as to whether Dallaji can pull off this great feat.
