The foundation for movement for good governance, FMGG a non political organization actively domicile in about 13 States of the Federation, with the objective to sensitize, monitor and advocate for transparency in government policies has bemoaned manipulation of online polls.
On wednesday 8th February 2023 has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC to check mate an independent opinion poll / social media poll as some candidates allegedly manipulate online poll result.
According to the State director Dr Chuks Ogogor Patrick, the online poll is a sample of ways the main election will likely go, warning that if manipulated, it will likely influence and manipulate the general election.
Briefing Journalist , FMGG maintained that they are hoping that several organization will live up to the standards by which they were evaluated by other Nigerians and disassociate themselves self from any act of manipulation.
