FRSC ANAMBRA STATE HELD A MOBILE COURT AT THE SECTOR COMMAND ALONG AWKA- ENUGU EXPRESS WAY ON THURSDAY, 17TH SEPTEMBER, 2020.

As the lead agency in traffic management with the cardinal statutory responsibility of creating a safe motoring environment in Nigeria, FRSC Anambra State Sector Command held a Mobile Court today Thursday 17th September 2020 at Awka, along Awka – Enugu express way to clamp down on recalcitrant Traffic violators .

  1. During the Mobile Court sitting in Awka, a total of thirty four (34) traffic Offenders were arrested and prosecuted in line with the dictates of the law. (38) Offenders convicted and (6) discharged accordingly. Total number of Offences committed (69) , most prevalent Offences were (LSV) Light Sign Violation (14) and (TYY) Driving with Worn-out Tyre or with out Spare Tyre (09).
  2. The Sector Commander Federal Road Safety Corps Anambra State,
    CC Andrew A. Kumapayi says Mobile Court is one of the enforcement strategies FRSC uses to clamp down on recalcitrant Traffic violators to bring about sanity on our highways especially during this Ember Months period.
