The winner of the November 6 Governorship election in Anambra state, Professor Charles Soludo of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, has extended his hand of fellowship to all those who contested the election with him.
Professor Soludo stated this in his Acceptance Speech after being declared the winner by INEC, titled, “A Divine Journey Whose Time Has Come”.
He said that he needed all of them to succeed, pointing out that aside from Politics, they are all brothers.
The Governor-elect urged them to come together for the “Project Anambra”, as there is enough room for everyone to contribute to the service of their homeland.
He called on them to keep the Anambra “spirit alive and strong and to collectively take the state to the higher pedestrian.
He appreciated the congratulatory messages from thousands of Ndi Anambra and Nigerians from around the world including some of his fellow candidates.
Professor Soludo who thanked God for the victory also said that he was dedicating the victory to the three policemen who were killed by unknown gunmen during a town hall meeting with youths in his ward, praying God to grant their soul’s eternal rest.
He further thanked Governor Obiano, APGA National Chairman, Ozo Victor Oye, all BoT members as well as all members if APGA, groups and organizations that contributed to his victory.
