A lecturer, Zakaria Kigbun of Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic , Lafia, Nasarawa state has been killed by Gunmen and his two daughters abducted.
Confirming the sad incident, the Police Public Relations Officer of the state, Rahman Mandel said they got the distress call at about 12:20 am and moved their patrol team and the military to the scene.
He said that when they arrived, they found the victim shot in his stomach and was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty. His two daughters were abducted to an unknown destination.
Mandel said that the command has commenced an intensive manhunt for the perpetrators of the dastardly act .
