Hon Chidi Ibemeka of the All Progressives Grand Alliance who won the Njikoka 1 constituency seat in the state House of Assembly has attributed his success to his personal capacity and ability within his area and in his party and also love shown him by his people.
Ibemeka won the March 18 election with a total of 7,414 votes to beat his closest rival from PDP with 4,373 votes .
Speaking to journalists, he said that the wave of the Obidient movement didn’t affect him in Njikoka 1 and neither did voter apathy as the electorate participated actively on that day.
He thanked his people , Njikoka 1 constituency, Anambra State and all the people that won their seats in his party and oppositions, while also commending Governor Charles Soludo and the national executive members of the party.
Concerning the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), he said that they performed above average as the March 18 election of the State House of Assembly was free, fair and credible ad BVAS and network was efficient.
