Hon Christian Ezenwoke made it official on Friday 8th April 2022, the frontline Awka North and South Federal House Representatives Aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the Awka North and South Federal House of Representatives election, Hon Chief Christian Ezenwoke (Ochili Nise) stormed the National Headquarters of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Abuja, accompanied by friends and well-wishers, supporters from Awka North and South in Anambra State and across the country to pick up his expression of interest and nomination forms ahead of the APGA Federal House of Representative’s primary slated for May 26th, 2022.
The mammoth crowd of supporters who were in a carnival-like mood sang solidarity songs expressing genuine hope that The Beginning Of A New Dawn of Awka North and South is Possible with Hon. Sir, Chief Christian Ezenwoke (Ochili Nise).
The National Financial Secretary of the party who welcomed Hon. Sir, Chief Christian Ezenwoke to the party’s Secretariat immediately led him to his office for the signing of forms with APGA legal adviser and one of governor soludos administration commissioner Barr Sly Ezeokenwa Jr.
While picking his forms, the man who is widely tipped to clinch the APGA Awka North and South Federal House of Representatives ticket, Hon. Sir, Chief Christian Ezenwoke (Ochili Nise) declared that he is on a mission to rescue, renew and rebuild a battered Awka North and South and transform the Constituency into a centre of excellence where intervention in every sector would be geared towards job and wealth creation. He pointed out that his entrance into politics was not because of his love for politics but because of his desire to serve as a catalyst to build a new, better and greater Awka North and South that will be the pride of Igboland and where the people would be the central focus of governance. According to him, Awka North and South is a sleeping giant waiting for the right key to unlock its enormous economic potentials that will create massive job opportunities for our people. He declared that his victory in the primary and main elections will kick start the speedy rural development, qualitative healthcare services and human capital development of Awka North and South.
Hon. Sir, Chief Christian Ezenwoke added that he is confident that God and the vast majority of APGA members in Awka North and South are solidly behind his eventual emergence as APGA flag bearer.
He, therefore, appealed to the leadership of the APGA both at the National and State levels to provide a level playing field for all Aspirants in the forthcoming September Federal House of Representative’s primary in Awka North and South, stating that APGA will emerge victorious at the 2023 poll if the party’s flagbearer is a product of a free, fair and transparent primary.
He also stated that he is comfortable with any mode of primary, the party in its wisdom decides to adopt after consultations.
While receiving the forms, the National Financial Secretary of the (APGA) All Progressive Grand Alliance, was upbeat that Awka North and South will become an APGA Constituency in September, he further reiterated the stand of the APGA NEC that the mode of primary in any State is to be determined by the State chapter of the party after consultations.
