Igbos for Progressive and United Nationhood (IPAN) has called on the new Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Soludo to look inward and ascertain major problems facing the people, especially civil servants and the less privileged.
The National President of IPAN, Comrade Lawrence Onuzulike who stated this in his release to newsmen in Awka, observed that the former governor may have been deceived by his commissioners, that teachers had been paid their gratuities, while they are still being owed their pension and gratuities.
Comrade Onuzulike commended Governor Soludo who had visited some schools to see things for himself and ascertained that the previous government was owing teachers their gratuities and 2021 leave allowance.
He noted that so far, Professor Soludo has started well and should sustain the tempo, advising him not to lose focus, but concentrate and adopt practical ways to transform the state, and not be theoretical.
He commended the Governor for visiting Okpoko, Correctional Center, and other places, to observe the level of decay in those places.
He said Soludo should be in charge of his administration and not believe only what people tell him
IPAN called on Ndi Anambra, especially aggrieved politicians from other parties and their supporters to support Soludo to move the state forward.
Comrade Onuzilike pledged to continue to work with the state government to ensure that voices of the masses are heard and dividends of democracy are delivered to the people.
