The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the commencement of the 2025 nationwide Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.
According to a statement released Friday via INEC’s official X handle, online pre-registration will begin on Monday, August 18, 2025, at cvr.inecnigeria.org, while physical registration at INEC offices and designated centres nationwide will start on Monday, August 25.
The registration will run weekdays, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
INEC urged eligible Nigerians, especially new voters, to take advantage of the opportunity. The exercise also allows for voter card transfers, replacements, and personal data corrections.
INEC reaffirmed its commitment to a transparent and inclusive electoral process.
