In Oji River Local Government Area of Enugu, it was thing a joy and happiness in Ugwu Oba precisely, Umualu village as Onwa bu Ife Age was officially inaugurated, attracting who is who in the community and local governments Council Area.
The Age grade according to their Chairman, are persons including male and female who were bored in the late seventies and earlier eighties.
In his opening remarks, chairman of onwa bu Ife age grade, said every member of the group is full of praise and thanksgiving to the Almighty for making the event of the day a huge success urging everbody present to Cerebrate with them adding that as their name implies , they will bring light to the community state and nation at a large
Chairman of the occasion, Barr who could not hide his admiration, urged them to sustain the qualities that a moon is known for which according him knows no boundaries in radiating light
He urged them to invest in landed property especially now they are younger adding that those who spend their money in frivolities will have themselves to blame. Prayed aged bless them. Financial blessing
On his part, the Local government Chairman of Oji River, described the members of the age grade as his age mates commending them for the support that gave him and entire government of Enugu state in the last general election.
While assuring them that he will continue to step down Dividends of democracy to the grassroots and other nooks and crannies of the council area, he prayed God that the age grade will also beget another age grade that will be also committed to communication development and donated 200.000 to support their activities.
