Labour says it has not zoned its presidential ticket to the Southeast.

The leadership of Labour Party says it has never zoned its presidential ticket to the South-East.

The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Mr Obiora Ifoh, stated this in a statement issued in Abuja on Monday.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Ifoh was reacting to a report making the rounds that the party had zoned its 2027 presidential ticket to the South-East.

The national publicity secretary maintained that the party had not and would not zone any of its positions to any geographical zone or individual.

Ifoh clarified a statement credited to the party’s National Chairman, stating that he (Abure) was quoted out of context
