A middle-aged lady who was paraded nude in the streets for allegedly causing the death of her husband has been rescued by Police in Aguleri, Anambra East.
According to the police spokesman, DSP, Ikenga Tochukwu, police swung into action after watching a video clip of the incident.
The narrator in the viral video alleged that the deceased was supposed to bury his mother next month but his wife killed him with excess sex.
The wife was paraded around Aguleri as the people chanted derogatory songs and abuses for her.
The PPRO stated that a suspect has been arrested for the barbaric act as the police is studying the video to identify other suspects and bring them to the book.
