Major General Aminu Chinade has taken over as the 37th General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 82 Division of the Nigerian Army, even as he has assured South-East residents of peace and safety.
Taking over from outgoing GOC of the Division, Maj.-Gen. Umar Musa, on Thursday in Enugu, Chinade assured that with robust collaboration of other sister security agencies and formations, the South-East would experience peace and security.
According to him, his job is to be pro-active and synergize with other security agencies and formations in the South-East and the Division’s Areas of Responsibility (AOR) to ensure safety, security and peace for all.
