Mali's ousted leader Keita leaves hospital – Nam News Network (NNN)

Mali’s former president Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, recently ousted in a coup, left hospital on Thursday after being treated for a mini-stroke.

Keita, who was forced out of office on August 18 by military officers in a coup where he was seized, had earlier been released on August 27 and returned him to his residence in Bamako, under surveillance after pressure by the West African bloc ECOWAS

The 75 year old was however admitted into hospice on Tuesday after suffering a transient ischaemic attack and may now head to the United Arab Emirates for further treatment.
