Man arrested for stabbing brother to death in Anambra

The Anambra State Police Command has arrested a man identified as Christian Ndubuisi regarding the fatal stabbing of his elder brother during an altercation.

In a statement released on Sunday, police spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed that Ndubuisi was apprehended on Saturday by police operatives attached to the 3-3 Divisional Headquarters, following a report of the incident.

He explained that during the fight, the suspect broke a bottle and used it to stab his brother.

The Commissioner of Police expressed his condolences, describing the situation as a tragic reminder of the need for conflict resolution and anger management.

He assured all that the case would be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Awka for further investigation, with a commitment to ensuring justice is served.
