Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar has lamented that the hyperinflation in all sectors of the nation has constituted serious socio-economic strangulation to the average Nigerian worker , who is now poorer than in 2015 , even as labourers deserve wages to meet prevading economic conditions of the time.
He expressed his views in a statement issued yesterday to felicitate with Nigerian workers on the occasion of the International Workers Day celebrated on May 1.
He commended Nigerians for their resilience and encouraged them to not despair but keep their heads above water and be hopeful for the sake of the younger generation and the country’s future.
