
Mbaukwu Archdeaconry, Anglican communion, Diocese of Awka last Saturday, held its 3rd Men’s Prayer Summit with the theme; “Hold Not Thy Peace Till The Good Ones Are Spared”.
In his Bible lesson drawn from 2nd kings 7 vs 9, the Chief Host, Reverend Silas Okeke, admonished Christian men to live righteous life to gain eternal life in heaven.
On his part, Evangelist Jonas Okezue, while delivering the Summit Speech, drew the attention of fathers to the importance of raising God fearing children for a better society.
The Church Service officiated by the Archdeacon in charge of Mbaukwu Archdeaconry, Venerable David Ezeobi, also had in attendance, clergymen from Saint Mark’s Parish, Umuawulu, Saint Lawrence Parish, Mbaukwu, Saint Jude’s Parish, Isiagu, Saint John’s Parish, Mbaukwu, Saint Peter’s Parish, Mbaukwu, Saint Barnabas Church, Saint Matthew’s Church, Ndiora, Saint Mary’s Church, Ndikpa and St Michael’s Church, Ntoko.
In his remarks, the Vice Chairman of the Archdeaconry Father’s Fellowship, expressed gratitude to the host parish, Saint Mary’s Church, Mbaukwu, for their hospitality, and also thanked all who contributed to the success of the summit.
