
The federal ministry of health has advised Nigerians on how to reduce the risk of Covid-19 infection , especially as there is a surge in number of infections nationwide.
According to information released on their verified Twitter app, adherence to all non pharmaceutical measures on Covid-19 is key. Such measures include wearing of face mask, maintaining a distance of 2meters from others , washing hands regularly and practicing good respiratory hygiene.
It also called on elderly persons who are 50 and.above , especially those that live with underlying health conditions such as Diabetes, Cancer and Hypertension as they are at risk of developing severe forms of Covid-19.
The Federal Ministry of Health also advised people to clean and disinfect all objects and surfaces as it helps to limit the spread of Covid-19.
For those that have taken Covid-19 tests, they should not panic while they await the result and should continue to practice all the non Pharmaceutical preventive measures of Covid-19.
