More well-meaning citizens have continued to speak in favour of Peter Obi’s Presidential ambition.
Speaking to the press in Awka, a former Chairman Anambra state chapter of the Nigerian Bar Association, Barrister Emmanuel Okechukwu Junior, noted that Obi has all it takes to effectively pilot the affairs of Nigeria.
According to him, Obi remains one of the best aspirants for the job given his accolades, noting that he has the wisdom, financial backup, and economic knowledge to govern the country.
The legal expert called on Ndigbo to support candidates of Southeast extraction from across party divides and then harmonize the Igbo interest, by supporting Igbo candidates who made it to the primaries of political parties.
On his part, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party from Ebenebe, Chief Anthony Okoye, also urged Ndigbo and Nigerians in general to support Obi’s Presidential ambition.
Chief Okoye noted that chief Obi’s antecedents as former governor of Anambra state and his other exploits are enough testimonies to support his political ambition.
Contributing, another Ebenebe illustrious son, Chief Basil Nwankwo, called on the Nigerian electorate to support chief Obi to correct the socio-economy of the country.
