Mr Obi has cautioned his followers to refrain from personally attacking political opponents.
In a series of tweets on Sunday, he said it was a wrong move to indulge in such acts. He told his supporters , whom he thanked for their support , that they should imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship and avoid name-calling or personal attacks on other aspirants and candidates. He also said that the common goal is to make Nigeria better as elections are democratic contest .
In the same vein, he also congratulated Alhaji Abubakar Atiku for clinching the PDP flag to run for 2023 presidential election. He prayed for God’s blessings on him.
