The Motorcycle Transport Union of Nigeria, MUTUN , Nanka chapter has , again, been reminded of the importance of wearing helmet and other necessary kits that can enable them protect their lives while doing their jobs .
In a gathering held on Monday, 20th February, which was convened by Architect Uganeme, MUTUN , Nanka chapter was reminded to make good use of the protective gears that were brought with huge sum of money for their safety.
Speaking to our correspondents, he said that high rate of motorcycle accidents that was recorded before the maiden summit of the event which took place last year drastically reduced as a result of teachings and kiting given to the motorcyclists as there was no news of motorcycle accidents throughout December 2022.
Also speaking at the Summit, the patron of MUTUN , Nanka Chapter ,Revd Dr. Jerry Dada Obi urged motorcyclists to be law abiding and also supported the association with 100,000 naira.
Also speaking,8 Nanka PG, Revd Canon John Ifeanyichukwu Ezike tasked them to always be neat and decent . He equally inaugurated a ten man committee to help conduct fresh election for MUTUN.
