The Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions, NASU, has given the West African Examinations Council, WAEC, a seven-day ultimatum over workers’ welfare issues and alleged victimization of labor leaders.
At a press briefing in Lagos on Monday, NASU’s General Secretary, Prince Peters Adeyemi, warned that all WAEC offices across Nigeria will be shut down if the management fails to address their four-point demand.
The deadline is set for Monday, March 24. NASU insists urgent action is needed to prevent a nationwide shutdown that could disrupt WAEC’s operations.
