Some eminent personalities in Anambra state have showered encomiums on Governor Willie Obiano as he adds another year and as he continues to touch the lives of many in the state and beyond.
Felicitating with the governor on his 66th birthday which comes up today, 8th August, the Head of Service, Anambra state, Barrister Harry Udu, expressed delight at the governor’s good track record especially as it concerns the welfare of workers.
Barrister Udu scored him high in service delivery and expects workers to reciprocate by being more dedicated to their duties.
On his part, the Executive Secretary, Local government Staff Pensions Scheme, Mrs.Gloria Obiorah- Ibezim, wished the governor the best in his endeavors and highly commended him for dutifully paying the pensions.
Also felicitating with the governor, a Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Political Matters, Ogbuevi Fidelisuma Nnelirk-Mmalive, spoke of the governor’s excellent welfarist packages for civil servants and political appointees, as well as his International Airport legacy project which he rated as his best birthday gift for the state.
Others who felicitated with the governor include the traditional ruler of Ukwalla in Anambra West, Igwe Joseph Ajudu, a former Chairman, Anambra State chapter of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Engineer Cyril Anetoh, and the Managing Director of the Anambra Newspapers and Printing Corporation, Sjr Chuka Nnabuife, wishing him the best.
