An environmental expert, Ademola Adegoroye, has urged Nigeria to adopt a comprehensive strategy to tackle the growing flooding crisis.

His research, focusing on the socio-economic impacts of flooding, revealed how floods disrupt lives, damage property, and lead to public health issues like waterborne diseases. He also highlighted the importance of urban planning, regulation, and community-based disaster preparedness to reduce flood risks.
