
The Newly appointed Commanding Officer, Naval Outpost, Onitsha (NOPO), Captain Innocent Pius Udoudoh, has solicited working synergy among security agencies in Anambra to further strengthen the security architecture in the State.
The Commanding Officer made the call when he paid a courtesy visit to the State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Anambra State Command, Commandant David Bille, in his office in Awka.
Captain Udoudoh posited that in other to further strengthen the already existing working relationship with other security agencies, there was need for them to synergize and co-operate for effective result .
Responding, Commandant Bille commended the Commanding Officer for the visit, assuring him of their support and cordial working relationship to achieve desired result.
He also solicited the support of the Naval Outpost in Onitsha to tackle the menace of illegal oil bunkering, illegal oil dealings and pipeline vandalism.
According to the Public Relations Officer, ASC Edwin Okadigbo, the visit ended with both Commanders pledging to deepen the existing inter agency collaboration for enhancement of existing peace in Anambra State .
