Nigerian movie producer Bolanle Austen-Peters has launched a 10,000-acre film village in Epe, Lagos State. She announced on Instagram that her latest movie, “House of GA’A,” was filmed at the newly unveiled BAP Film Village.
Austen-Peters highlighted that the film village features rolling hills, huts, and various facilities and is open for commercial use, including recreation and movie productions. She expressed her excitement about creating a space that supports the Nigerian film industry and provides opportunities for filmmakers.
Austen-Peters also shared the story of Bisola, a woman who took charge of the development, clearing the dense forestation and overseeing the construction of the film village.
