
The Nigerian Red Cross Society, Anambra State Branch, has reached out to support Ozalla Primary Health Care Centre, Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State, by donating hospital equipment to the health facility.
The Equipment which include hardwares of various types, were presented during a familiarisation visit to the Primary Health Care Centre.
The Branch Communication Coordinator of Nigerian Red Cross Society, Anambra Branch, Mr Fidelis Ikeji, who spoke during the presentation, said the gesture was to add value to their services by alleviating the sufferings of the people of Isuofia Community through quality Primary Health Care delivery,


Mr Ikeji added that this is in line with the mandate of the Red Cross Society worldwide which is alleviation of human sufferings wherever it may be, and working with the four core programs of the society in the areas of Health and Care, Disaster Management, Promotion of Humanitarian Principles and Values and Organisational Development.
The Red Cross team led by the Branch Secretary, Engr. Kingsley Okoye, the Branch Health Coordinator, Mrs Constacia Amagba and other State officers, made the presentation on Thursday, 22nd July, 2021.



Dignitaries from Isuofia Community present to recieve the items include Chief Dr. Marcel Ofomata, a representative from the Igwe in Council, Isuofia Community who spoke excitedly about the presentation said, “I am particularly glad that the Health Centre is singled out due to the activeness of the Primary Health Care Centre and efficient performances of Red Cross Society, Aguata Division in Anambra State and the host Community. I appreciate the leadership of Red Cross Society, Anambra State, for this honour while pledging our continuous partnership in humanity services”.
