As different bodies, organizations and groups took to the streets to protest against the prolonged closure of the public universities in Nigeria, some others took to Twitter on Tuesday to express their anger and disappointment as the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila twitted that he has resumed school in a university in the United States of America not minding the ongoing strike action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities since February 14.
Gbajabiamila said that he has gone back to class for a leadership course havard Kennedy school as one is never too old to learn.
Reacting to his post, Nigerians expressed displeasure, anger and frustration at the seemingly insensitivity of some government officials who should have been vocal about the plight of Nigerian students.
Most Nigerians have wondered if the strike is coming to an end any soon with government officials and their children studying outside the country.
