The Nkitaku Village Youth Movement, Agulu, has embarked on filling of some pot holes as a way of repairing some bad spots on their roads.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman, Comrade Chinonso Adigom, said the pot holes along Madonna Catholic Church, through Anaocha Central Park, towards Jimmy Okonkwo’s House in the village, are so deep while some have turned into gullies.

Comrade Chinonso observed that these bad spots have caused a lot of road accidents around the area leading to numerous deaths.

He said that they realised that since this is Christmas period, many of their kinsmen would return home for Christmas and New Year celebrations and since they are not aware of the deplorable state of the road, might lead to fatal accidents at this festive period.

He said it is their desire that these their kinsmen come home safely and go back safely to their various destinations after the celebrations.
