
The Management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University has announced that the Post UTME and other relevant screening examination has been replaced with O’level and UTME results grading system.
According to a statement signed by the Registrar of the university, Barr Philemona Okoye, the change is in consideration of the very large number of applications and te need to comply with Covid-19 preventive guidelines of the federal government of Nigeria.
As a result of that, the University has adopted an automated O’level subject grading system for the exercise to replace the Post UTME scores and other relevant screening examination scores.
Explaining further, the statement said that candidates will be screened based on their JAMB scores and O’level result for the four subjects taken in JAMB with the ratio reflecting as 70:30, which means 70% JAMB score and 30% O’level subject score.
It also went further to say that candidate who got credited his four subjects in a single sitting will get a bonus of 20% whereas a candidate who credited his four subjects in two sitting will get no bonus sitting.
